Big Jim 9932 Grip Hands – War Photographer 2199
The Big Jim figure ref. 9932, recognizable by its orange briefs, Grip Hands and ball-jointed leg retention system, is one of the early Big Jim versions equipped with gripping hands, introduced from 1976 onwards. This development made it easier for the figure to hold the many accessories offered by Mattel.
The ref. 2199 “War Photographer” outfit, also known as “Combat Zone Reporter”, was released from 1978. It was designed to equip Big Jim for his adventures as a war correspondent.

- Very minor paint wear to the hair.
- Please note: the left leg, originally designed for elastic retention, has been converted to a ball-joint retention system. The modification is not visible externally.
