The Jet Bomber from Galoob's The A-Team toy range, released in 1983, is a large play aircraft inspired by the classic television series.

This example comes with its pilot, Howling Mad Murdock, most of its original accessories, and its original box with the plastic insert. Only one component is missing: the plastic connecting rod between the small runway tractor and the aircraft.

Missing component:

The plastic connecting rod between the runway tractor and the aircraft. This piece consists of a rod with a loop at each end, representing the connecting cable.

Detailed condition

Aircraft:

Excellent apparent condition, with impeccable paintwork.

The nose has been entirely reconstructed by hand and repainted. The repairs are described in detail below and shown in the photos.

Howling Mad Murdock figure:

Excellent condition, with very slight paint wear.

Accessories:

The missiles, bombs, ladder and runway tractor are in Mint condition.

Box and plastic insert:

The plastic insert is in Very Good condition.

The original box shows more wear, including sun fading, creases, dents, tears at some corners, and one missing side opening flap.

Restoration and repairs

Aircraft nose:

The original nose was missing or damaged and has been entirely rebuilt by hand using modelling putty, then painted.

Wing attachments:

The wing attachments have been reinforced with inserted metal rods. These reinforcements are invisible, even when the wings are removed.

Rear stabilizer attachments:

The original attachments had been glued inside the fuselage and broken off flush with the body. They have been replaced with metal pins.

All parts remain removable. The repairs and details of the aircraft have been photographed.
